Head Shakes

Presenting as an involuntary, sometimes violent, shaking of the head, the dog will be conscious and aware of what is happening. Causes may be tied to low blood pressure and stress. Giving your dog honey will increase their blood sugar level, and distracting them can interrupt stress responses. If these treatments don’t work, take your dog to the vet as soon as possible to ensure it is not in pain.
