Hydrocephalus

Hydrocephalus: This condition, where Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) accumulates in the brain, can be due to a congenital disability from trauma during birth or an obstruction. Confirmed through ultrasound, this disease presents as a swollen or enlarged head. There is no cure for Hydrocephalus. In mild cases, steroids, or a shunt that diverts fluid from the brain to the abdomen, can reduce fluid pressure in the brain.
